How much land will be farmed?
The Farm Land comprises the entire area of each Farm (other than the Farm Dwelling Site and related Driveway Area after it has been released to the possession of the Farm Owner), and consists of areas that are now, or will be, planted in coffee or another crop and other areas intended for ancillary farming uses (such as farm roads, berms, drainage diversions, irrigation facilities, maintenance and equipment areas, fallow areas and wind breaks) (collectively, the “Cultivated Land”), plus agricultural land conservation, cultural, archeological and buffer areas. While coffee will be the sole or primary crop until at least the expiration of the Farming Agreement, some Farms do not currently contain any coffee trees and may, at the discretion of the Tenant, be planted in a different crop.
