How much land does Calgro fertilize in a year?
The Calgro operation plans to cover approximately 2000 hectares or 4940 acres every year, an area roughly twice the size of Nose Hill Park in Northwest Calgary. However, the actual number of acres covered will depend on the weather. The farming operations served by Calgro are primarily those within about 35 kilometres of the Shepard Storage Lagoons in Southeast Calgary.
