How much is the worlds largest diamond estimated to be worth?
Since the cost of a diamond is more than just the size (color, clarity, history, and other items are important) the largest “Golden Jubilee” at over 545 carats is not close to the most expensive diamond in the world. (Before it was cut, it was called “unnamed brown”, not a very exciting name!) It was given to the king of Thailand and its real value can only be estimated. The 3106 carat Cullinan Diamond was the largest ever found, but it was cut into pieces for the British crown jewels. The largest one of these cut diamonds is probably worth over $400 million, but it is slightly smaller than the Golden Jubilee. Sources: http://reviews.ebay.
