How much is the license to operate a restaurant?
A food service license is $200 per calendar year. In addition, there is a one-time application fee of $200 for all newly licensed establishments. The license expires on December 31 of each calendar year and must be renewed by that date. A renewal reminder is sent to each licensed food service establishment about four-six weeks before the license expires. If the license is allowed to expire by the facility, a new application must be submitted along with the appropriate fees.
