The charge amount depends on the severity of the contravention and will be either £70 or £50. For example parking on double yellow lines will result in a ticket for £70 whilst overstaying in a car park will be £50. If paid within 14 days, the charge is reduced by half to £35 or £25 respectively. Pay for it online If you pay late, the amount increases to £105/£75 or more if we have to pursue the debt through the use of bailiffs. Enforcement officers will not be allowed to accept payment and are under strict instructions that once a PCN has been issued it cannot be withdrawn.
