How much is the balance of the MCN Protected fee?
The balance payment is £75 and will be deducted from the same credit card you used to make the payment for the listing fee – but only after the bike has been sold. You will be notified by email before the balance payment is deducted. So do I need to tell you I’ve sold the bike? No. When you book an MCN Protected ad you’ll be sent by post a document listing the details of your bike and the warranty available for it. When you hand the bike over to the new buyer, you simply hand them this document at the same time. The document includes full details for them to activate the warranty. When the buyer activates the warranty, we will know you have sold the bike and will take the £75 balance payment from your credit card. What if I sell my bike by other means?
