How much is the application fee and what is the method of payment?
A. Our application fee is $65 and it is non-refundable. If you apply online you can pay by credit card or check or money order in U.S. dollars. If you do not apply online, you can only pay by check or money order. If you pay by check or money order please make them payable to The University of Chicago and mail the fee to our office. Can the application fee be waived? A. The fee is required of all applicants, except for students currently registered in a degree program at the University of Chicago or reapplicants. Under no circumstances will an application fee be refunded, nor can the fee be waived or deferred. Applications received without a fee or with checks that bounce will not be considered for admission.
