How much is is to get married at medway registry office in Rochester, Kent?
As far as I’m aware, all register offices cost the same amount. We got married 2 weeks ago – not in Rochester, but in England – and it cost us a total of £101. That includes the cost of giving your notice to marry, the cost of the ceremony, and the cost of additional marriage certificates if you want them. The charges are requested at different times though: * You will be asked to pay £60 (£30 each) when you give your notice to marry. This can be done up to a year before the wedding ceremony, and you should do this at your local register office. We had to make an appointment with the registrar to do this, and the waiting time was 2 weeks, so make sure you leave plenty of time for this. When you do this, you will need to specify the date and location of your wedding. To ensure that you don’t get caught out, you should make a provisional booking with the register office you want to marry at, to ensure you get the date and time you want.
