How much is Croatia represented in Japan in relation to tourism?
As for tourism – Croatia is becoming one of the most popular destinations among the European countries for Japanese tourists. Two years ago; in 2007 we had 86,000 Japanese visitors in Croatia, last year, we have not yet an exact number for 2008 but we are expecting around 150,000 Japanese visitors, which is an 80% increase, which is very remarkable year and is why I think that last year was an exceptionally good year. Last March, President Mesic visited Japan, during which he met Emperor Akihito. How did this visit reflect on diplomatic and other relations between the two countries?
