• Each Potential New Member should be aware of the financial responsibilities of sorority life before joining a sorority. • On average, the first semester of sorority membership is twice as expensive as the following semesters. • During the New Member Education semester, dues at Texas Tech range from $800 to $1,100. • Semester dues for initiated/active members range from $4000 to $600. • These costs exclude sorority paraphernalia such as shirts, jewelry, and other items. • Sororities typically ask for dues payments at the beginning of the semester.
