How much is a nickel that was damaged at the US mint worth?
“Damaged at the mint” is a little difficult to know exactly what you have. Most coins that are damaged, whether at the mint or elsewhere are not usually worth any more than face value. However, if you are refering to a coin which has a manufacturing defect or a preparation defect [called an error by collectors] then you may have a coin which is considered collectable. The collectability of it, however, depends upon the nature of the error and without knowing exactly what you have there is no way to give a value for it.
