How much is a fair price to have automobile window tinting professionally done?
It depends on where you live–the price varies by area as does the legality of having tint. However, if you live in a more open-minded state call around and get some prices. Or you can try it yourself. I have done several cars, 2 trucks, and an RV. I like to work with the tint that has the metal layer–it is so much easier to work with. More expensive, but well worth it. Buy a good sized roll on ebay, that way you will have some to practice with. I tinted a whole RV just recently (and there are a lot of windows in those things) for $25.00.
