How much is a Bernina fun lock 007D Deluxe Overlocker Sewing machine worth by Bernette?
It’s a 3/4 thread serger with differential, probably made by Juki for Bernina (I’m not positive) and they were about $700 new 10 years ago. Sergers do not tend to hold their value well, and they’re more subject to wear and tear than a conventional sewing machine. A similar Juki machine now, new, would be about $400 new now; a similar Brother about $250. In the last 10 years, 3/4 thread machines have become the ground floor of serging models, with new machines handling 2-5 threads and capable of doing a larger number of stitches a 3/4 thread machine can. If the machine has been lightly used and is in good condition, you might be able to get a couple of hundred for it. Obviously, I’m in the US, so you need to adjust for UK market conditions.
