How much is a 1997 Hewlett Packard Pavilion computer worth now?
Sorry to say this but most of the answerers here are being too generous. An 11 year old computer is worth $30 if that. You should hold off on it because in a few years it will start becoming an antique.I’m sure there are some enthusiasts out there who like collecting these things and will pay ok money for it.
An 11 year old computer is not hugely valuable because there have been years and years of advancements in computers, and at this point, you can buy a brand new computer for a lot less than that HP cost back in ’97. I hesitate to put a dollar figure on it because I think you might find it insulting. Let’s just say that the right buyer will pay what they think it’s worth.
Look on eBay for a price of one like yours or similar to it. But I don’t think you’ll get much more than $75 for it because it is all old hardware. The only thing in it maybe worth something would be your memory sticks. You could donate it to a senior center or some not-for-profit agency that is teaching typing skills to the underprivileged people so they can get a job.
