How much is a 1989 Mustang GT convertible worth?
It really depends on your area, and the demand for that car in your area. Kelly Blue Book and NADA, etc are way off on those cars. I’ve seen nice Fox body Mustangs in my area go for anywhere from $2500 on up, just depending on condition, mileage, etc. Fox body cars with the factory 5.0 (not 4 cylinger to 5.0 conversions) are getting a little harder to find in nice shape, so take that into consideration also. You might be better off keeping it, seeing how the prices on them seem to be going up as their availability decreases. I’d recommend checking out autotrader.com to see what individuals (not car lots) in your area with comparable 89 GT verts are asking.
