As a rule: The condition of these coins and the mint marks are extremely important for setting a value of worth on coins from this era, or any for that matter. However, I must say that there’s always an exception to the rule. I have seen a coin go at auction for nearly $8,000.00 dollars in mint state 65 just this year.
