How much is a 1919 wheat penny worth?

I know a little about coins, but am by no way an expert. But I don’t know if that date is a special one or not. There are a couple of factors in a coins value. For all of them, I would check out eBay to get an idea: 1. condition – this is key. If the coin has been graded (appraised), then that could add even more value to it than if it were just loose change. The slightest scratch, or wear, could drastically reduce value. 2. age/rarity – if it is a rare coin from long ago, it will be worth more. If there are not many like it around it helps. 3.mint mark – this is located on the coin & tells where the coin was made from the different mints in the US. Sometimes one is worth more than the others.
