How much is a 1904 singer sewing machine with wooden case?
Depends on the condition of the machine, the model, and the quality of the decorations. Treadle and hand crank machines are currently fetching more than electrics. Probably $0-50 around here for a machine in poor to average condition; up to several hundred for a sought-after model in pristine condition with original accessories and manuals. As I’m sure you noticed when you checked the serial number, Singer made a gazillion machines in that era. Me, I’d hang onto it… with a little care, it could still be sewing in another hundred years. For more information, I’d probably send you to the nice folks at ISMACS (International Sewing Machine Collectors) and the yahoo group “wefixit”.
