How much Hp does a stock chevy 350 out of a 1969 camaro have?
There were three 350’s offered as options for ’69 Camaro’s. Engine RPO LM1 was a 4 bbl version offered early in ’69 rated at 255 h.p., the L65 was a 2 bbl version rated at 250 h.p. which replaced the LM1 mid-year, and the L48, which was the SS package base engine rated at 300 h.p. The car had to have the SS package to get the L48. It couldn’t be ordered on base, RS, or obviously Z/28 models. The 360 h.p. LT1 wasn’t available in the Camaro until the 1970 model and even though it was the same engine, the 370 h.p. rated LT1 was only ever available in the Corvette.
