How much height do a capital and base add to an architectural column?

Unless it is a decorative capital, no additional height is added to an architectural column. The bases and standard capitals on our architectural columns wrap around the column shaft. Because decorative capitals are placed on top of a column shaft, instead of wrapping around, each different size will add an additional amount to the total height of the architectural column.
