How much hay and bedding is included in the cost of the stable?
Limited hay and straw is included within the DIY options based on the campus. No cushionbed is included and there is no hay or bedding included in the livery option based on our off site yard. At present (09/10 academic year) this equates to 2 bales of hay per week, allocated to the student at half a bale Monday – Thursday, and 3 ½ bales of straw per week, allocated to the student on Mondays and Wednesdays (1 bale) and Fridays (1 ½ bales). Any hay and straw provision not used, is non transferable and non refundable. These current allocations are subject to change dependant upon market costs and availability. Additional hay, straw and any cushionbed and haylage, can be collected by purchasing tokens from the Centre Administrator during office hours.
