How much has gogoyoko donated to charity so far?
It’s still early days for our charity program so it’s really not timely to discuss amounts. However, with every new user and more and more artists donating to charity everyday we’ll see the numbers growing faster for our charity partners. We are also in the process of kick-starting our advertisement system and once we get some advertisers on board we can start to donate 10% of our ad income as well. So, be patient. All good things take time. But be sure to hit the store and be supportive of artists that so generously give a portion of their sales to our charity partners. The Charity Icon (white dove) indicates when the album or tracks you are buying contribute to the gogoyoko charity partners. Once we start seeing some significant numbers we’ll launch the charity ticker on the site so that all users can follow the growth in total charity donations in real time.
