How much grooming does a Scottie need?
Quite a bit, actually. Brushing and trimming should be done several times a year. It is best to avoid bathing unless absolutely necessary. Scottie skin can dry out very easily. Be aware that Scottish Terriers have a tendency to scratch and bite at themselves a lot, even to the point of creating thin spots or bald spots on the coat. A professional should probably handle full grooming and trimming. Soctties do not shed a lot.
