How much funding will Kresge provide for our requested grant?
Grants for Institutional Capitalization are competitive. We expect that the Kresge Foundation will not be the sole funder of facility or building reserves projects. Kresge grants may be awarded as a match or challenge. Additionally, grant amounts will vary by the type of grant for which an organization is applying. Final grant amount decisions will be made after careful review of the applications and conversations with potential grantees. In general, Institutional Capitalization grants will not exceed $1 million and/or a period of three years from the time of grant award.
