How much funding will CHIPP provide to a project?
CHIPP is a shared-cost contribution program. The Health Canada contribution will not exceed 50% of the eligible costs of a project and there will be a ceiling of $20 million to any one project. The detailed terms and conditions of each contribution will be defined by a contribution agreement or, in the case of federal departments, a memorandum of understanding to be signed between Health Canada and the individual lead applicants.
