You should use 2 to 3 times more fresh than dried because dried herbs flavours have concentrated during the drying process, and although aren’t nearly as nice and fresh tasting you don’t need nearly as much. As for using your fresh herbs, all you have to do it give them a wash, chop them up and toss them in your sauce. You can put them in more toward the end of cooking though as they will taste much fresher that way.
