How much fresh air does the heater need to work?

For heater proper working, the level of oxygen in the air could not be lower than 17%. The heater needs min. 30m3 air for each heating kW (for example: heater with 25 kW capacity needs min. 750 m3), it is equal to fresh air inflow 0,003 m2 for each kW (for example the heater 25 kW – min. fresh air inflow 0,075 m2 ). It is better to have two air inflows on both sides of the room, to make air flow. If there is more than one heater working in the same room, add their powers before calculation. Those assumptions concern only heaters with oil or gas combustion.
