How much formula should i feed my 12 weeks baby….he is thin i want him to gain weight..?
Babies don’t overeat, so you should give him as much formula as he wants. If he goes through one bottle, then let him have another serving if he wants it. Take him to the doctor, though…maybe he is at a healthy weight and you just think he is too thin, or maybe he has a medical problem that is causing him to be thin.
I can relate to your situation…we had small baby he was just 5.5 pounds at birth and now he is 12 pounds at 4.5 months ………..i tried to give him more of pumped milk for the same reason as yours..he use to drink 3 Oz’s at 12 weeks and now 4………..he is on cereal ,banana,avocado and just starting on with apple will be intro potato and carrot very soon may in a week…….but still he is not a big baby he still seems very thin ….nobody believes his weight…….he is going to be like his father may be he is very thin!!!!!! have to live with it….m son is super active and very very healthy!!!!!!!!!!
