How much for a cheap good used car in thailand, can i get one with 35000 baht ?
Hardly, if yes be very careful about the technical condition, cars are not maintained here at all and even if we ask our car technician at the shop where we bought the new car to check on this and this and to replace it we always get the answer ‘it’s not broken yet,mai pen rai(doesn’t matter), same experience with our big motorbikes, so you have to insist to get some service done. If you want to buy a car in here look for an expat car service shop and ask them to help you or at least to have a look at the car before you buy it, be ready to pay around 100.000THB, that’s good enough for a 7-10year old sedan or a simple reliable pickup 5-6years old, if you come to Pattaya I can show you some repair shops with british, swiss or german owners, there is a lot of good 2nd hand cars in here. We actually decided to buy a brand new one 2years ago as the price – warranty value for money comparison between very good condition 2nd hand and new cars was definately towards the new one.
