How much food should I feed my overweight chihuahua?
I’m not sure exactly how much you should feed at each sitting but the dog should be fed at least twice a day. Once in the a.m and once in the p.m. If you give your dog treats, they should become less frequent and occur maybe 3 times between its meals. See if you can find healthy treats- we use cheerios and carrots for our lab instead of cookies all the time. The exercise will help her to lose weight but also try playing with toys too even in the house. Hope this helps.
