How much food do i need to give my cat if i am going away for one week?
please get a cat sitter who will visit house once or twice a day, to feed , change water, change litter, what you give it now treble it by five, but even if this is not right, a responsible cat sitter, will get anything else needed for you and you can pay her any monies, those cat sitters are not expensive, and worth their weight in gold, u will get one from local paper, or pet shop, and it will save you any worrying, it is an offence to leave a animal stranded in a house, you must have it checked every day, so they can top up the water , and food and as i said change its cat litter
it will need whatever you give it per day x the number of days you’re away for this will need to be dry food; you’ll also need to ensure there’s enough water for your cat, and enough litter etc (if an indoor cat) ideally, you’d get someone to drop in once a day to change the food and check the water; your cat might overeat on day 1 (not realising the lack of anymore coming in the meantime), and run out by or before day 5
