How much flexibility is there in the design and implementation of our community’s chosen quality, cost efficiency, and population health improvement metrics and objectives?
Communities will be given flexibility in selecting process and outcome objectives and setting specific, measurable, and ambitious yet achievable targets consistent with the scope of their proposed project that demonstrate how they use their health IT infrastructure to achieve the goals of more cost-effective and higher quality patient care and improved population health by the end of FY 2012.
