How much extra weight does the Chassis Grabber mounting system add?
Each base Chassis Grabber bracket kit, top & bottom bracket, inserts and hardware, weighs approximately six pounds. While this is more than the hardware used to mount equipment the old way, it is not a big factor in the overall weight of the truck and equipment. For example two PAR Chassis Grabber kits add roughly fifteen pounds to the installation of a one hundred pound cooler.
