How much extra does it cost the project to be LEED certified which includes the recently implemented University Green Building Policy?
It is difficult to put an exact dollar amount on the additional costs associated with LEED and the University’s Green Building policy. Most of the costs involve the upgrading of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and controls which are still being selected for the project.
