How much energy can I save by switching to fluorescent lighting?
You can typically expect to use 60% to 75% less energy for every incandescent bulb you replace with a fluorescent technology lamp. Many of our clients that use electricity primarily for lighting have cut their electric bills by more than half by switching to Bright Ideas lighting. Because fluorescent lighting generates far less heat than incandescent bulbs additional energy savings in air conditioning can also be expected. Some of our customers are saving an additional $1000 or more a year in air conditioning costs.
