How much duty/tax can I expect to pay when importing a product?
The US Dept. of Commerce maintains a list of taxes and duties applicable on imports from the United States into most countries at http://www.export.gov/logistics/eg_main_018142.asp. Note that this is maintained by the Dept. of Commerce, and we cannot confirm its accuracy. Please also note that this reference usually does not include any amounts that are payable for consumption taxes (such as GST, IVA, VAT, etc) that would apply to domestic products the same as imported products. In many countries, articles being imported through the postal network with a small value may be exempt from duty or be imported at a reduced duty rate.
