Increase of pressure drop caused by the membrane itself is even after 15 years operation at a minimum. Membranes used by Aquaconsult have no fillers or plasticizer, a reduction of flexibility or other deterioration of Membrane performance with time, will not be determined. Increase of pressure drop caused by membrane clogging mainly depends on wastewater consistency and operation mode of the plant. Such membrane clogging can be reduces by membrane maintenance such as blow down cycles, acid cleaning or cleaning with high pressure water beam. Therefore please mention our Bull 715 maintenance instructions. The increase of pressure drop for a cleaned membrane after 15 years of operation dose not exceed 10 mbar compared to a new membrane.
