How much doest an internet connection costs?
In France , there are two types of internet connections i.e. Limited usage (hours based) and unlimited usage (monthly). The limited usage narrowband 56K connections are not highly recommended as these are assumed to be expensive. The 56K narrowband connection is only considered as an option if one is not in the reach of an unlimited connection. For ADSL Broadband connection (1Mpbs to 8Mbps), there are again two options. One is cable ADSL link and other is telephonic ADSL link. The principal operators that provide cable link are Noos, Club-Internet etc. The cable ADSL costs around 20 Euros per month and is available only in big cities like Paris . However, the highly adapted and recommended solution is telephonic ADSL link. There are number of ADSL operators in France like Neuf Telecom, Wanadoo, CEGETEL, TELE2 etc. Normally (1Mbps-8Mbps) ADSL connection costs around 15 Euros (for ADSL LINK) + 13 Euros (For France Telecom’s Fix Line) per month.
