Examples are a new car in a racing game, or a new weapon in a first-person shooter. Typical costs will be in the range of 25 cents to a few dollars. Note that premium content may actually affect your ability to be effective in games. For instance, that car that you can buy for $1.00 might be the fastest car in the game, and if you don’t have it you’ll lose to people who do have it. It seems to me that this sets Xbox Live up to split between the “haves” and “have nots”, but time will tell how it all shakes out.
