How much does tutoring cost at the READ Program?
All of our services are provided at no charge to the learner. All we ask is your committment to attend lessons. Q: What is a passing score on the GED? A: You must have at least an average of 450 on each subtest (Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies) and a total score of at least 2250. No individual subtest score may be less than 410. The essay must receive at least a score of 2 or the remainder of the writing section will not be graded. Q: Where can I take the GED? A: Check our our GED Exam Info page for more information. Q: I didn’t understand my teachers in high school. Why would a tutor at the READ Program be any different? A: The READ Program staff and tutors will work to find materials that are relevant and interesting to you. We will also work to match your learning style and availability.
