For those who don’t know, trigger finger is a disease called stenosing tenosynovitis. It’s when the tendon of your finger is too short, gets caught and causes a lot of pain. They try a lot of meds, rest, cortisone injections, etc. to try to relieve the pain, but if that doesn’t work then they do surgery to release the tendon. After surgery your mom will have to go to physical therapy for awhile. That’s usually where the bills add up, but it’s critical to do the PT. Each surgeon charges different prices for surgery. You usually have to pay the surgeon as well as the facility that the surgery is done at, like a hospital or surgery center.
