How much does treatment cost?
This is the question we are asked most commonly, but it is also the most difficult to answer! Our fees vary greatly depending on the nature and severity of the malocclusion, the treatment method, the type of appliances used and the anticipated treatment duration. We can provide a detailed quotation once a thorough examination has been completed and diagnostic records have been obtained. In most cases we are able to provide interest free payment plans for up to 18 months. Private health insurance funds usually rebate 50-75% of the total cost and any out of pocket expenses over $1500.00 are tax deductible.
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient’s problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different budgets. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans and we will file the necessary papers to the insurance company. We work hard to make orthodontics affordable.
Our fees vary from location to location. Please see the Clinic Locations for individual clinic fees for treatment. • How are you funded? For the most part we are funded by patient fees. This is good news and bad news. The bad news is that in many locations we do not have sources to help patients pay for treatment. Some states simply do not allocate funds for methadone maintenance. Please check with each clinic to find out if treatment assistance is available. The good news is that because we are not funded by state or federal funds, we are dependent upon you the patient to pay the salaries of our staff, rent of our offices, etc. Therefore, we work very hard to keep you satisfied with the treatment you are receiving at our clinics. We realize there are other clinics you can go to, but we want and need your business and will work to make you happy.
Substance abuse treatment programs funded by the Agency are required to apply a sliding-fee scale fee adjustment for all clients receiving substance abuse services. The Agency’s policy mirrors the intent of the SAPT Block Grant denying no one treatment, regardless of their ability to pay. Each funded provider’s sliding-fee scale must comply with SAPTA’s Sliding-Fee Scale guidelines found in SAPTA’s Administrative Manual. The manual can be found at http://mhds.state.nv.
