How much does the taxi cost from the villas to downtown?

The taxi ride from side to side of the island costs 34 pesos (3.5 usd), tips are not expected. Also, if you would like to safe some money, you can take a taxi from our place to the first neighborhood (15 minutes walking) and pay 17 pesos, then get off and stop another taxi to downtown that costs 7 pesos. It makes a total of 24 pesos. In the palapa you will find a CB Radio that can be used to make any call: Police, Doctor, Red Cross, Diving Center, Taxi Drivers, etc.
