The total airfare is determined by the number of coupons plus applicable fees, taxes and surcharges. Example for a Japan Airpass routing: The routing Tokyo (NRT) – Nagoya (NGO) – Hakodate (HKD) – Tokyo (HND) – Tokyo (NRT) – Sendai (SDJ) costs 44.000 JPY plus applicable fees, taxes and surcharges for travel in Economy Class.
