How much does the Post 9/11 GI Bill cover?
The benefits under the new Post 9/11 GI Bill vary greatly state-by-state. This means that the student would max out at $28,126 per semester (not year). In effect, the new GI Bill provides an opportunity to cover all tuition and fees at ANY institution in Texas if the student receives 100% of the benefit. Veterans may also transfer all or part of their benefits to a dependent or spouse, although there are different rules fo
