How Much Does the Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program Provide?
Depending on the funding available for that year, Ohio veterans of the National Guard can receive up to 100% tuition coverage at two- or four-year schools. Currently, the program covers up to 12 full-time quarters or 8 full-time semesters. Applicable to both online and campus programs, the Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program cannot exceed the average in-state tuition charged by Ohio’s public colleges and university. However, unlike many other military-related education benefits, the Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program can also be applied to private and independent schools. The recipient must be working toward an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
