How much does the CWF Appeal raise?
The CWF Appeal raised $3.2m in total across the three appeals in the 2007/08 financial year. • When are the Appeals held? The Appeals are held on the first Sunday in August, the second Sunday in November and the first Sunday in May. • What does the CWF Appeal support? The CWF Appeal supports important charitable works of six agencies of the Sydney Archdiocese. These are: • Aboriginal Catholic Ministry – promoting reconciliation, mutual understanding and for an end to racism and prejudice. • CatholicCare – (formerly known as Centacare), the official Catholic social service agency for the Archdiocese. • Chaplaincy – providing chaplaincy services to universities, hospitals and prisons. • Confraternity of Christian Doctrine – supporting the Catechists in providing religious education in our State Schools. • Ephpheta Centre – supporting deaf and hearing-impaired people in the Archdiocese. • Seminary – supporting the education and training of future Priests for the Archdiocese. • Is my CWF d
