depends on the field, $50,000 – $100,000 A drug counselor will make around $30,000-$50,000 (not technically a psychologist because they don’t necessarily have the advanced degree) A therapist charges $65-125 an hour but has other expenses to run the business (so it depends on their business) A school psychologist makes $60,000-$110,000 but only works 1000 hours a year. An industrial organizational psychologist makes $100,000 right out of college! Like I said, depends on the field. Not all psychologists just sit and listen to your problems. Those are called therapists.
