How much does sound masking cost?
In general a complete sound masking system costs about $1.00 per square foot where you install it. For example, a floor with 50,000 square feet may only need 9,000 square feet of sound masking. The cost would be around $9,000. The cost may be slightly higher or lower depending on the size and complexity of the system. A 15,000 square foot installation uses as much electricity as an emergency exit light.
