Although every system is individually designed and bid, barring any exotic mounting requirements, as a first estimate systems can be ball-park priced at $8/Watt (installed). For systems up to 10 KW in the XCEL service area, there are rebates and credits of up to $3.50/Watt available, which is typically slightly more than 50% of the system cost. Furthermore a federal tax credit of 30% can be claimed be homeowners as well as commercial users.
